Privacy Policy
Solutionary (solutionary.dev) is operated from the United States and provides 1-on-1 coaching, plus a private student portal with two AI tools. This policy explains what we collect, what we do with it, and how to get it deleted. Last updated 6 August 2026.
Signing in with Google
The student portal uses Google Sign-In as its only login method. We request Google’s basic email and profile scopes — nothing else. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service, and we cannot read them.
From your Google account we receive and store:
- Your email address — this identifies your account and is where portal and coaching email is sent.
- Your name — used to address you in the portal and in email.
- Your Google account identifier — used to recognise you on return visits.
- Your profile picture URL, if your Google account has one.
This data is stored in our database (Supabase) for as long as your account exists. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, do not share it with third parties for their own purposes, and do not use it to train any AI model.
Solutionary’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What else we collect
Only what you give us, plus ordinary technical logs.
- Application form: your name, email, LinkedIn URL, a description of your experience, target role, target companies, and earliest start date.
- Free career assessment: the background you write, your target role, and — if you choose to upload one — your resume. We extract the text and store that; we do not keep the uploaded file.
- AI mock interviews: the transcript of each practice session and the scored debrief it produces.
- Interview pipeline: companies, roles, and interview rounds you choose to track.
- Coaching records: your phase, tasks, and notes your coach keeps about your progress.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and error diagnostics.
AI features, and what leaves our systems
The career assessment and the mock interviewer are powered by OpenAI. When you use them, the content you submit — your written background, extracted resume text, and your interview answers — is sent to OpenAI’s API to generate your result.
OpenAI is the only external party that receives your submitted content. We do not send your coaching content anywhere else, and we do not permit it to be used to train models.
Analytics and session recording
We use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for error reporting.
Session recording is off for anonymous visitors browsing the public site. It starts only once you are signed in to the student portal, so we can see where the product is confusing and fix it. Password and email fields are always masked in recordings; other text you type in the portal may be captured. If you would rather not be recorded, email us and we will exclude your account.
Who processes your data
We use these providers to run the service. They process data on our instructions only.
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file handling.
- Vercel — website and application hosting.
- OpenAI — the AI assessment and mock interviewer.
- PostHog — product analytics and session recording.
- Sentry — error diagnostics.
- Hostinger — outbound email delivery.
- Cal.com — consultation booking.
We do not sell personal information. We will disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account and coaching records are kept while your account is active and for as long as we have a legal or contractual reason to keep them — including, if you have signed an income share agreement, for the life of that agreement. Applications and assessment results from people who never enrol are kept so we can follow up, and deleted on request.
Your choices
- Access or correct your data — some of it directly in your profile, the rest by asking us.
- Delete your account and its data — email us and we will remove it, except anything we are required to retain.
- Revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account's security settings; this signs you out of the portal.
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message. Service email about your coaching still applies.
- Ask us to exclude your account from session recording.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. Ask and we will honour them.
Children
Solutionary is for working adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where it affects you, tell you by email.
